QA QC Engineer Jobs in UAE at TGC Middle East
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA/QS Engineer to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in construction or industrial projects, with hands-on exposure to both QA/QC documentation and Quantity Surveying activities.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance, managing project documentation, supporting quantity verification, and assisting with commercial activities including measurements, billing, variations, and cost tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
QA/QC Responsibilities:
– Prepare and submit QA/QC documentation including Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), RFIs, MIRs, WIRs, and other quality-related documents.
– Ensure project activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
– Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, test results, material certifications, and project documentation.
– Coordinate with site teams for inspection requests and approvals.
– Follow up on material approvals, testing reports, and quality documentation.
– Support internal audits and ensure timely closure of NCRs.
– Ensure compliance with project quality and safety standards.
QS / Commercial Responsibilities:
– Prepare and verify BOQ quantities based on drawings and project requirements.
– Perform quantity take-offs and monitor work progress against BOQ.
– Assist in preparation of interim payment applications.
– Support preparation of variation orders (VO), claims, and cost tracking.
– Verify subcontractor measurements, quantities, and invoices.
– Maintain accurate records for measurements, billing, and commercial documentation.
