Position: QA/QC Engineer I
Job Purpose / Objective
The QA/QC Engineer performs a range of data collection, sampling, analysis, and reporting tasks associated with Quality Control and Quality Assurance plans. In addition to evaluating and interpreting processes and procedures, performing audits and inspections and relaying results to the Quality Management Director.
Key Accountabilities
Maintain, assist and enforce quality management systems across the company and ensure that all related policies, procedures and instructions are adhered to by all concerned personnel.
Apply quality concepts and tools to the development of quality data collection, data management systems and analysis techniques.
Provide input to the development of quality control and quality assurance plans and utilize available systems to maintain a database of all related documentation.
Research and develop new quality control auditing techniques and analytical methods.
Coordinate with organization personnel to perform quality audit and test and ensure compliance with quality management procedures
Analyze current processes, procedures, policies, and practices and apply appropriate statistical process control methods to evaluate the current processes and recommend changes, if any.
Participate in conducting process improvement initiatives, such as quality audits, gap analyses and performance indicators, and help identify and prioritize current improvement opportunities.
Prepare, compile, and manage all documentation related to quality management, such as process flows, diagrams, checklists, operational standards, quality control procedures, quality audits, and control sheets.
Facilitate third-party quality audits and prepare and submit required documentation upon request.
Create relevant summary tables, diagrams and graphs and present statistical analysis results to the Quality Head.
Follow-up on and support the implementation of corrective actions on deficiencies and non-conformances.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the line manager.
Requirements
Education Bachelor’s degree related to Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or relevant experience.
Professional Qualifications
Hold at least one professionally recognized certification program;
Certified Quality Inspector (CQI), American Society for Quality (ASQ), ISO 9001 – lead internal Auditor or equivalent Accredited Certification Program

Ability to Implement and maintain QMS frameworks like ISO 9001.
Experience in applying statistical process control, control charts, and root cause analysis.
Ability to conduct inspections, non-destructive testing, and use relevant standards.
Identifying and mitigating quality risks, and conducting risk assessments.
Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.
Managing document control processes and systems.
Evaluating suppliers, conducting audits, and monitoring performance.
Analyzing quality data, generating reports, and presenting metrics.
Understanding and communicating technical requirements effectively.
Collaborating with teams, suppliers, and customers, resolving quality-related issues.
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
