Job Overview
We are urgently seeking an experienced QA/QC Civil Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy project in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidates with consultancy, building project, and Qatar experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Valid MMUP/UPDA Grade A or Grade B Certification (Mandatory)
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in Qatar
- Consultancy experience is mandatory
- Building project experience is mandatory
- IRCA Certified Lead Auditor and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification (or equivalent) are mandatory
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, material inspections, and quality documentation
- Experience in coordinating with consultants, contractors, and client representatives
- PWA (Ashghal) approval/experience preferred
- Excellent reporting, documentation, and communication skills
- Must be currently available in Qatar
- Freelance visa holders preferred
- Immediate joiners only
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures in accordance with project specifications and quality standards
- Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, material submittals, and inspection reports
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, contractors, and client representatives
- Identify non-conformities and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain QA/QC records, reports, and quality documentation
- Monitor project quality performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements
Pay: QAR10,000.00 – QAR11,000.00 per month
