About You
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) Coating Operator to join our Dubai manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring our PVD coating equipment, ensuring products are processed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
You will be responsible for operating both manual and automatic PVD machines, supporting production schedules, and maintaining clear communication with management regarding machine performance and production output. The role requires a hands-on individual with previous PVD experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.
This position would suit someone who is proactive, dependable, and comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Role Responsibilities
· Operate manual and automatic PVD machines in accordance with approved process parameters
· Load and unload products safely and efficiently into and out of machines
· Monitor machine performance throughout production runs
· Carry out machine start-up and shutdown procedures
· Ensure machines are operating in line with daily production schedules
· Report machine abnormalities, breakdowns, maintenance requirements, or quality concerns immediately
· Operate automatic cleaning line machines according to production requirements
· Coordinate daily production activities with the Production Manager
· Provide regular updates on machine status, production output, and operational issues
· Communicate production delays, maintenance requirements, and quality concerns promptly
· Support the achievement of daily and monthly production targets
· Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
· Follow company quality, safety, and operational procedures at all times
· Assist in other factory operations and production activities when machine workloads permit
Requirements of Role
Essential:
· Previous experience operating PVD coating equipment within a manufacturing environment
· Ability to operate both manual and automatic production machinery
· Good understanding of production processes, quality standards, and machine operation
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
· Ability to identify and report machine faults or quality issues promptly
· Good communication skills in English and Hindi, both spoken and written
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
· Physically capable of handling products and working within a factory environment
