Branch Purchasing Leader will oversee all purchasing activities related to non-ferrous scrap materials at the branch level. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent and cost-effective sourcing,building relationshipswith suppliers, and meeting purchasing targets in alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the branch’s purchasing operations.
Identify and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality scrap materials at competitive prices.
Monitor market trends and pricing to optimize purchasing strategies.
Maintain strong supplier relationships and seek new sourcing opportunities.
Collaborate with branch management and commercial Dep. to meet purchasing and operational targets.
Prepare reports on purchasing performance and inventory levels.
Skills:
Experience in non-ferrous scrap purchasing/trading.
Strong negotiation andcommunication skills.
Knowledge of market dynamics and industry standards.
Proven ability to meet purchasing targets and manage supplier relationships.
Ability to work in afast-paced, target-driven environment.
