We are seeking a Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement activities, source suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure the timely availability of materials while maintaining quality standards and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process from requisition to delivery.
- Source, evaluate, and develop suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Issue and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, and Operations departments to support business requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and support demand planning activities.
- Analyze purchasing data and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Maintain accurate supplier and item master data within ERP systems.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Procurement or Purchasing.
- Experience in heavy equipment spare parts is highly preferred.
- Experience with part numbers and cross-reference alternatives is an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CPP or CSCP are a plus.
- Good command of English language.
