Purchasing Coordinator

  • Coordinate purchase requisitions, obtain quotes, raise purchase orders and track order confirmations.
  • Liaise with suppliers, follow up on deliveries, manage lead times and resolve supply issues.
  • Maintain supplier records, compare quotes and support vendor evaluation and onboarding.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock replenishment and communicate shortages to procurement and operations.
  • Prepare purchase documentation, match invoices to POs, and support AP with processing and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval workflows and local import/customs requirements.
  • Generate procurement reports, track spend, and support cost‑saving initiatives.
  • Support contract renewals, performance reviews and coordination of returns or claims.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field; 1–3 years’ procurement/purchasing experience preferred.
  • Proficient with ERP/purchasing systems and MS Excel.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Valid work authorisation for Qatar.
