We are looking for purchasers for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Should have knowledge of industrial chemicals and packaging material.
- Should have connections with raw material suppliers.
- Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses.
- Assessing vendors and their offerings with in-person visits, interviews and analysis to assess their quality.
- Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests.
- Developing strategies to source raw materials that are cost-effective while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
- Working with suppliers to ensure that they have adequate supplies of raw materials to meet production schedules.
- Negotiating sale agreements and supply contracts in ways that benefit their company.
- Coordinating with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services.
- Authorizing payments and managing purchasing expenses with record‑keeping and data tracking.
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure fair pricing terms.
- Reviewing bids from suppliers to determine which supplier offers the best price and quality of product.
- Ordering raw materials as needed to maintain adequate inventory levels.
