Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Purchase Executive to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in purchasing building materials, vendor management, price negotiations, and procurement coordination. The candidate must possess a valid UAE driving license and be familiar with the local supplier market.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure building materials from approved suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, evaluate offers, and negotiate the best prices and commercial terms.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and project teams to meet procurement requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Follow up on pending orders and resolve supplier-related issues.
- Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with the finance team for payment processing.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Visit suppliers and vendor locations when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Purchase Executive, preferably in the building materials industry in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of the UAE building materials market and supplier network.
- Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement activities.
- Valid UAE Driving License – Mandatory.
