Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Freelance PR Specialist with proven expertise in both local and international public relations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing PR strategies, building strong media relationships, securing press coverage, and enhancing brand visibility across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement PR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with local and international media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
- Secure media coverage and speaking opportunities.
- Coordinate interviews, media events, and press conferences.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare performance reports.
- Manage the company’s public image and reputation.
- Collaborate with internal teams on campaigns, product launches, and corporate announcements.
- Identify new PR opportunities, partnerships, and industry events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Public Relations with both local and international markets.
- Strong network of media contacts is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Experience writing press releases and media pitches.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with agencies or multinational brands.
- Knowledge of the GCC and International media landscape.
- Existing relationships with regional and international media outlets.
