Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage all government-related processes and ensure full compliance with UAE regulations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of PRO experience in the UAE, preferably 2 years experience within the Oil & Gas industry, with strong exposure to ADNOC requirements and government liaison activities.
The candidate must be immediately available to join and capable of independently handling visa, immigration, labour, licensing, and government approval processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all visa and immigration processes, including employment visas, residence visas, Emirates ID, medical fitness, visa renewals, cancellations, and status amendments.
- Liaise with UAE government authorities, including MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Civil Defense, Department of Economic Development (DED), ADNOC, and other relevant entities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and company regulatory requirements.
- Process and coordinate Civil Defense approvals, permits, and related documentation.
- Handle CICPA/CICPA pass applications and renewals for both ADNOC Onshore and Offshore projects.
- Manage labour camp approvals, renewals, and compliance requirements with MOHRE and other relevant authorities.
- Coordinate trade license issuance, renewals, amendments, and the addition of business activities.
- Handle UAE port and customs clearance procedures for imported and exported materials and equipment.
- Maintain relationships with government departments and ensure timely completion of all regulatory requirements.
- Monitor expiry dates of licenses, permits, visas, and other statutory documents to ensure timely renewals.
- Prepare and submit official documentation, applications, and correspondence with government authorities.
- Support HR and Operations in employee mobilization and regulatory compliance.
- Keep updated with changes in UAE government regulations, labour laws, and ADNOC requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a Public Relations Officer (PRO).
- Preferred: Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly supporting ADNOC projects.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Thorough knowledge of UAE visa and immigration procedures.
- Strong understanding of UAE Labour Law and employment regulations.
- Experience with Civil Defense approvals and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with CICPA pass processing for ADNOC Onshore and Offshore projects.
- Knowledge of MOHRE labour camp approval and compliance procedures.
- Experience in trade licence renewals, amendments, and adding business activities.
- Familiarity with UAE customs and port clearance procedures.
- Strong working knowledge of UAE government portals and online systems.
- Well-established working relationships with UAE government authorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Candidate

- UAE Driving License is preferred.
- Experience working with ADNOC-approved contractors or Oil & Gas service companies is highly desirable.
- Able to work independently while maintaining accuracy and compliance with all government regulations.
