We are looking for an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage instances of counterfeiting by liaising with the relevant authorities, as required by the Sales team and in alignment with guidance from Legal and Regulatory. The role will involve managing government-related processes across the UAE, with a strong focus on municipal engagement and in-market compliance. It is critical for coordinating field interventions and working with stakeholders to minimize the presence of unauthorized products in the market.
Project Period: 6 months
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all interactions with UAE government authorities, including municipalities and economic departments, strictly in accordance with instructions and guidance from Legal and Regulatory stakeholders.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on applications through municipal authorities and government platforms, ensuring alignment with Legal and Regulatory requirements.
- Ensure full compliance regulations, and municipal procedures, under the direction of Legal and Regulatory teams.
- Conduct regular market visits and inspections to monitor product compliance in trade, gather intelligence, and report findings to Sales, Legal, and Regulatory stakeholders.
- Act as the key liaison between the business and authorities to escalate and resolve non-compliance issues in the market, as guided by Legal and Regulatory.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather documentation and ensure timely regulatory submissions and approvals, in line with Legal and Regulatory instructions.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, inspections, and violations.
Qualification
- Role is open to UAE Nationals only
- Proven experience as a PRO in the UAE
- Demonstrated experience in market inspections, municipality coordination, or compliance enforcement activities.
- Strong understanding of UAE government regulations and processes related to counterfeit products
- Good communication skills in Arabic and English
- Strong stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in field-based environments.
- Familiarity with UAE government portals and digital systems.
