Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the issuance, management, and closure of all work permits to ensure safety compliance on site.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard identification for all planned activities requiring permits.
- Liaise with site management, contractors, and operational teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of permit conditions.
- Perform regular site inspections to verify that work is being conducted in accordance with permit regulations and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all permits issued, activities performed, and any incidents or deviations.
- Develop and implement effective permit-to-work procedures and protocols tailored to the specific site environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related technical field.
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification in Health and Safety is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing permit-to-work systems in complex industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using permit management software and digital tools for record-keeping and tracking.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience in Pipeline, Oil & Gas, EPC, Flowline, Wellhead, Brownfield, Upstream, Onshore.
- Gulf/ADNOC experience preferred.
- Clean-shaven policy applicable.
- Candidates with Metro, Building, or Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible.
Age and Experience Requirements
Maximum age limit is 49 years. For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.
For managerial and senior roles, a minimum of 5 years Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
