Proposal Engineer, Sales Engineer Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE/Dubai at NCO
To manage and coordinate the proposal processes by preparing competitive and compliant bids, identifying and developing new business opportunities, sourcing technical and commercial requirements, evaluating client needs and tenders, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring cost-effective solutions that align with project specifications, timelines, and organizational growth objectives within the engineering Design consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Proposal & Tender Management:
Manage the full proposal and tendering process, including reviewing RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs, coordinating submissions, and ensuring timely delivery of compliant and competitive proposals. - Proposal Development & Coordination:
Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to collect technical and commercial information, and prepare proposals, presentations, pre-qualification documents, and company profiles in line with client requirements. - Compliance & Reporting:
Maintain sales and proposal records, ensure compliance with company and client standards, and provide regular reports, pipeline updates, and post-bid evaluations to management. - Risk & Cost Control:
Identify sales and delivery risks, , and contribute to cost optimization and value engineering initiatives to improve project efficiency. - Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong client relationships, conduct regular engagement reviews, and ensure satisfaction and retention to support long-term business growth
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in proposal development, sales, or tendering within the engineering consultancy industry.
- Ability to manage multiple proposals and sales activities under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with RFP, RFQ, EOI, and contract processes.
- Experience with proposal or sales management systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and technical writing skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of tendering, supplier evaluation, sourcing, and contract administration.
