Job Title: Rigger – Borehole Drilling & Sampling

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Rigger – Borehole Drilling & Sampling with 4 years of experience in operating rigs and conducting borehole sampling for geotechnical investigations. The ideal candidate should have experience handling drilling rigs, soil sampling, and safety compliance in accordance with UAE regulations and MOIAT standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain drilling rigs for geotechnical and soil investigation projects.
Perform borehole drilling, soil sampling, and in-situ testing according to project specifications.
Ensure correct drilling techniques are applied to extract high-quality soil and rock samples.
Assist geotechnical engineers by collecting, labeling, and preserving samples for laboratory analysis.
Monitor and document drilling depth, soil layers, and ground conditions.
Ensure safe rigging and lifting operations when handling drill rods, casings, and equipment.
Comply with UAE safety regulations, ISO standards, and MOIAT requirements for drilling operations.
Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of drilling rigs and related equipment.
Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and laboratory personnel to ensure accurate data collection.
Follow health and safety protocols to minimize risks during drilling and rigging operations.
Requirements:
4 years of experience operating drilling rigs and performing borehole sampling.
Strong knowledge of geotechnical drilling techniques, soil sampling, and rig operations.
Experience with rig maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs.
Familiarity with MOIAT standards, UAE drilling regulations, and ISO safety guidelines.
Certification in Rigging & Lifting Operations (UAE-approved certification preferred).
Ability to read and interpret borehole logs, drilling plans, and technical drawings.
Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor and high-risk environments.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Proficiency in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).

Pay: AED1,500.00 – AED3,000.00 per month
