Position: Project Risks Specialist KSA (SAR 35K- 40K)
PROJECT RISK SPECIALIST – Riyadh – KSA
Antal International is exclusively working with a Global PMC / EPC company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to hire a Project Risk Specialist, reporting to Project Director. Candidates must have KSA experience & currently based in Saudi Arabia. Budget: SAR 35K – 40K
Responsibility:
To proactively manage, control, and report on the risk planning and controlling activities for the portfolio of projects.
Responsible for setting, implementing, monitoring, and reporting of all required management reports and KPIs related to Risk Management in accordance with the projects’ procedures.
To conduct project risks and issues identification, evaluation, mitigation and development of risk and issues prevention strategies and assist all Project members in minimizing and eliminating risk and issues.
Person specification:
The ideal candidate should hold a degree in engineering field from an internationally recognized university and over 12 years relevant experience in projects and resource management, planning, scheduling and risk management.
Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience of risk planning and control.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferable experience using Oracle Primavera Risk Management tools applications.
Experience of working in Saudi Arabia.
Additional Responsibilities:
Manage the planning and controlling risks on overall program.
Integrate project budget and schedule with outcomes obtained through quantitative analysis (time & cost) from risk management tools such as Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis.
Participate in claims analysis and negotiations.
Prepare schedule performance measurements reports, forecasts and studies.
Analyze critical paths and restraints to determine the effect of changes on the schedule and recommend workarounds to mitigate impacts.
Assist in preparation of the monthly progress report with Risk related inputs.
Provide project management consultation on factors affecting the timely completion of projects.
Provide project planning capabilities including critical interfaces and risks analysis.
Ensure project policies and procedures are implemented accordingly.
Based on risk analysis outcomes, assist in developing and monitoring preventive actions and recovery plans to support project delivery on time.
Undertake any other related ad-hoc duties as reasonably required.
Work actively with specific software (Primavera Risk Analysis and similar).
