About the Role

LITCO Group is expanding its operations in Saudi Arabia and is looking for a results-oriented Project Operations Engineer to support the successful delivery of steel structure projects. This position requires an engineer who can drive site execution, coordinate project stakeholders, and ensure activities are completed efficiently while meeting quality, safety, and contractual requirements.

The successful candidate should have a strong background in structural steel projects and be capable of managing construction activities from the initial planning stage through project completion and final handover.

What You’ll Be Responsible For Project Delivery

  • Drive day-to-day site operations to ensure project activities are completed within approved schedules.
  • Coordinate the execution of structural steel works, including columns, beams, trusses, bracing systems, slabs, and supporting structural elements.
  • Plan work sequences and monitor progress to ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
  • Support the Project Manager in achieving project objectives and maintaining overall project performance.

Engineering Coordination

  • Review IFC drawings, structural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and BOQs before commencement of work.
  • Coordinate technical requirements between engineering, procurement, fabrication, QA/QC, HSE, and site teams.
  • Resolve engineering and construction-related issues that may affect project progress.
  • Ensure construction activities are executed according to approved technical documents.

Site Operations

  • Organize manpower, subcontractors, equipment, and construction resources for smooth project execution.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work quality meets project standards.
  • Conduct routine site coordination meetings to address progress, technical issues, and resource requirements.
  • Identify construction risks and recommend practical solutions.

Inspection & Project Documentation

  • Prepare and coordinate Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and Work Inspection Requests (WIR/WMR).
  • Schedule inspections with consultants, clients, and QA/QC representatives.
  • Follow up on inspection comments and ensure timely closure of observations.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, inspections, approvals, and technical documentation.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, and company procedures.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC personnel to maintain inspection and documentation standards.
  • Work alongside HSE teams to ensure safe execution of all project activities.
  • Promote continuous improvement in construction quality and operational efficiency.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or another relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of engineering experience in Saudi Arabia.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering steel structure fabrication, erection, and installation projects.
  • Proven ability to manage structural works involving columns, beams, slabs, trusses, and structural steel assemblies from project planning through execution and final handover.
  • Experience working with subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Practical knowledge of MIR, WIR/WMR, inspection procedures, QA/QC documentation, and project reporting.
  • Ability to interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, IFC drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously.

Pay: ﷼8,500.00 – ﷼10,000.00 per month
