Project Manager – Landscaping, Swimming Pools & Water FeaturesAbout the Role
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of landscaping, swimming pool, water feature, irrigation, and associated civil works projects. This role covers the full project lifecycle—from planning and mobilization to execution, commissioning, and final handover.
You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong client satisfaction and commercial performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Delivery
- Take full ownership of landscaping, swimming pool, and water feature projects from start to finish
- Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Manage all project phases including planning, procurement, execution, commissioning, and close-out
- Identify and resolve technical, operational, and commercial issues to keep projects on track
- Manage multiple projects while meeting client and company expectations
Planning & Coordination
- Develop and maintain project schedules, work programs, and resource plans
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Ensure smooth communication between engineering, procurement, commercial, and site teams
- Conduct regular progress meetings and track action points
- Monitor milestones and ensure timely delivery of key activities
Site & Team Management
- Lead project engineers, site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors
- Supervise daily site activities and ensure work follows approved plans and schedules
- Optimize manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance
- Provide technical guidance and decision-making support to site teams
- Build a strong, collaborative, and performance-driven site environment
Technical Oversight
- Review drawings, BOQs, material submittals, method statements, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements and project standards
- Coordinate civil, MEP, irrigation, and landscaping works for smooth execution
- Resolve technical issues and support engineering decisions on site
- Track design changes, approvals, and technical deliverables
Swimming Pool & Water Feature Works
- Oversee construction of swimming pools, pump rooms, balancing tanks, and filtration systems
- Manage installation of pumps, piping networks, electrical systems, lighting, and automation
- Supervise testing, commissioning, and performance verification
- Ensure all water feature systems meet functional, aesthetic, and quality expectations
Landscaping & Civil Works
- Manage hardscape and softscape works including paving, planting, turfing, irrigation, and structures
- Oversee site preparation, excavation, grading, drainage, and earthworks
- Ensure all landscaping and civil works meet approved drawings and quality standards
- Monitor workmanship and ensure timely corrective actions
Cost Control & Commercial Management
- Monitor project budgets, costs, variations, and profitability
- Work closely with procurement and commercial teams for cost optimization
- Review subcontractor payments, claims, and variation orders
- Support forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial reporting
- Identify value engineering opportunities without compromising quality
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Enforce QA/QC standards, HSE policies, and UAE regulatory requirements
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with specifications
- Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities
- Manage non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare regular project progress reports for management and clients
- Track risks, delays, claims, and mitigation actions
- Maintain complete project documentation and records
- Support final handover including as-built drawings, testing, and commissioning reports
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 8–12 years of UAE experience in landscaping, swimming pools, water features, irrigation, or civil construction
- Strong knowledge of civil works, MEP coordination, and landscaping systems
- Proven experience delivering projects within budget and schedule
- Strong leadership, planning, and commercial management skills
- Good understanding of UAE construction standards and authority requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Primavera P6, or MS Project is an advantage
- UAE Driving License preferred
