We are a leading construction company in Libya, specializing in infrastructure projects such as roads and bridges construction. With over 7,500 employees and 14 subsidiaries, we set standards in quality and innovation. To strengthen our team, we are seeking an experienced Head of Project who will also act as the Deputy Managing Director.
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and execute roads and bridges construction projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Provide strategic and operational support to the Managing Director, assisting in administrative and project management tasks.
Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, ensuring alignment with quality, budget, and timeline objectives.
Enforce compliance with safety regulations, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Liaise with stakeholders, contractors, and government authorities to facilitate seamless project execution.
Prepare, monitor, and review project budgets, providing regular updates to the Managing Director.
Oversee Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes to ensure adherence to project specifications.
Collaborate with supervising departments to track progress, troubleshoot on-site issues, and maintain safety and technical compliance.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 15–20 years of experience managing large-scale roads and bridges construction projects,including oversight of QC/QA, safety compliance, and budget control.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, material management, project planning, and industry-standard project management tools.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate multidisciplinary teams under tight deadlines.
Adaptability: Ability to work in challenging environments, deliver results under pressure, and travel within Libya as needed.
Communication: Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
