Project Manager – Healthcare
Reporting to the Project Director, you will be involved in the project management of major projects or a portfolio of smaller projects across the programme of works that consist of up to 200 building projects.
This role leads from design development, procurement, detailed design and then, once the construction contracts have been awarded, manages the project through delivery to hand over, ensuring quality, safety, time and cost parameters are met or exceeded.
Role is client‑facing, managing a professional team, local and international sub‑consultants and contractors.
Requirements:
- Degree qualification is essential.
- Minimum of 10 years postgraduate experience is essential.
- High‑end building or major project experience is essential.
- A background in main contracting, management contracting, construction management, project management or engineering is acceptable.
- Experience with well‑recognised blue‑chip construction organisations.
- Experience working for Blue Chip, Western Project Management or Construction Management organisations or larger Healthcare Trusts or SPVs that have delivered many successful hospitals.
- International experience is not essential.
- Must be prepared to live and work at the project location.
- Must have demonstrated longevity in previous employment.
