Project Manager – Insurance Technology & Digital Transformation Jobs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at Capital Numbers
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise insurance technology and digital transformation initiatives across the Middle East and Africa region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end project delivery while collaborating with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical delivery organisations. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a solid understanding of insurance business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete project life cycle from initiation through implementation and production support.
- Define project scope, timelines, resource plans, and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, QA, Infrastructure, and Support.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, issues, and change requests.
- Facilitate governance meetings and provide regular project status updates.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical delivery.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), go‑live planning, and post implementation stabilization.
- Maintain effective communication with business stakeholders and project teams.
- Drive project quality and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience delivering enterprise software projects.
- Proven experience managing insurance technology or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing distributed and cross‑cultural teams.
Insurance Domain Experience
- Motor Insurance (Highly Preferred)
- Underwriting Operations
Broad exposure across multiple insurance products and digital insurance platforms will be considered a strong advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certifications preferred.
- Experience working with enterprise insurance platforms and transformation programs.
- Prior exposure to GCC or African markets is advantageous.
- Arabic language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Standard working hours aligned with local business operations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with offshore delivery teams based in India.
- Expected daily overlap with the India delivery center: approximately 4–5 hours.
- Flexibility to support project milestones, production releases, and key stakeholder meetings outside standard business hours when required.
- Occasional travel within the assigned country or region may be required.
