Role Purpose
The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale industrial and manufacturing projects. The role requires strong expertise in project lifecycle management, stakeholder coordination, and compliance with regulatory frameworks, including Royal Commission (RC) standards. The candidate must have a proven track record in managing complex projects within industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Project Team throughout the lifecycle of project.
- Lead end-to-end project management activities from initiation to close-out
- Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with Royal Commission (RC) standards and industrial regulations
- Oversee design management, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
- Monitor project performance (cost, schedule, quality) using tools such as Primavera P6
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Manage contract administration, variations, and claims
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to HSE standards and company QMS procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field)
- PMP certification or equivalent is highly preferred
- Minimum 15 years of total experience
- Minimum 8+ years in Project Management roles
- Proven experience in industrial and manufacturing projects (mandatory)
- Strong experience with Royal Commission (RC) projects (mandatory)
- Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
