Now we are looking for a Project Manager/Heavy Lift Manager (Industrial Project Logistics Department) in our branch in Abu Dhabi!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To coordinate aseamless flow of cargofrom the point of contractual origin to destination;
Toverify and evaluate the technical suitability of the proposed method of transport;
To review, study and then implementan action plan on the conditions contained therein;
Providing therelevant expert knowledgeacross solutions and logistics industry;
To attend and chair project progress meetings, meetings at Client’s, the Seller’s / Supplier’s facilities, Consolidation and Marshalling Yards, Job Site or other locations to discuss forthcoming shipping operations and logistical planning;
To manage, oversee and auditwhere necessary all staff, sub-contractors, and their interface.
REQUEREMENTS:
Deep knowledge of transport and freight forwarding industry;
Experience in
Project management
in the logistics industry and project cargo transportation (min. 5 years);
Experience with
projects in the Middle East region;
Higher
education
– economy/ marketing/ finance/ management/ logistics/ transport;
Excellent knowledge of English;
Provedorganizational skills,
leadership
qualities;
Exceptionalproblem solvingand negotiation skills;
Strategic thinking, proactivity and responsibility;
Good team-working competences;
