We are hiring an experienced and local Project Manager for a Food Waste Recycling Facility to lead the initiation, execution, and commissioning of a government-approved Food Waste Recycling & Bioplastic Production Facility in Qatar, from inception to the successful commissioning of the factory.
Responsibilities
Project delivery: Manage scope, timelines, and resources.
Commissioning oversight: Ensure smooth transition from construction to operations.
Stakeholder management: Coordinate with the ministry, contractors, management, and consultants.
Compliance: Uphold environmental and technical standards.
Team leadership: Build and guide a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
10+ years in industrial project management, with 5+ years in commissioning large-scale facilities.
Knowledge of waste management or bioplastics preferred.
PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
GCC experience is advantageous.
Lead a landmark sustainability project.
