We are are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a large‑scale, technically complex project. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in a high‑visibility project, working in an international environment.
Responsibilities:
- Technical and operational responsibility for all awarded work orders.
- Full financial and technical accountability for all assigned work orders.
- Represent the company in meetings with clients, authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate the team of Works Managers assigned to each work order.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE, Welfare, and Quality policies and procedures.
- Monitor and control the technical and financial progress of all work orders.
- Propose and plan the resources required for the execution of the work orders.
- Participate in and support the tendering and bidding process.
- Act as the main point of contact with the client for daily follow‑up of site activities and execution progress.
- Ensure permit processing and compliance with approved timelines.
- Guide and support Works Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of project works.
- Lead negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Support Works Managers in design coordination with consultants and clients.
- Assist Works Managers in the preparation of project documentation and deliverables (permits, inspection requests, BOQ, ITP, method statements, as‑built drawings).
- Lead technical and commercial discussions with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Monitor project KPIs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Requirements:
Education: BSc in Engineering – preferably Civil PMP preferable.
Required Experience: Minimum of 8 years
Important Experience and specific knowledge: Experience in Projects with minimum value of 150 M QAR as Project Manager. Quality Control, Quality Assurance and local legal Specification.
