We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic Project Manager who will plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure that project objectives are accomplished within the agreed schedule and budget, using approved KONE methodologies and tools. The primary objectives for this role are customer satisfaction and KONE profitability.
The Project Manager will be accountable for project scope, schedule, and budget, delivering the project within the defined contractual requirements and KONE objectives. The role involves ensuring KONE business success and customer satisfaction, professional stakeholder management, proactive customer communication, and integrated project planning and management with customers and KONE teams.
Responsibilities include managing project deliverables in line with the project plan, ensuring continuous monitoring and control, successful project start-up, reviews, reporting, and governance facilitation. The Project Manager will communicate project status and progress effectively to KONE management and customers, identify and mitigate operational and financial risks, and manage project financials including forecasting, cash flow, and revenue management.
The role also involves actively driving sales-to-operations handover quality, managing project team leadership, maintaining safety and security awareness, and ensuring compliance with safety policies.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 5-7 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in the elevator and escalator industry (high-rise). Fluency in English is required;
Arabic is an advantage. Strong collaboration, communication, negotiation skills, and initiative-taking abilities are essential. PMI or similar certification is a plus.
