Job Purpose:
Manage and oversee organizational projects by ensuring effective planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and closure in alignment with approved objectives, timelines, KPIs, and PMO governance standards. The role supports effective decision-making through project performance tracking, data analysis, reporting, and proactive risk and issue management.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Manage assigned projects from initiation to closure in line with approved project management methodologies and PMO standards.
- Develop and follow up on project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and required resources.
- Coordinate with project owners and internal stakeholders to ensure clear scope, objectives, roles, and expected outcomes.
- Follow up on project activities to ensure timely execution and achievement of planned deliverables.
PMO Governance and Project Monitoring:
- Support the implementation of PMO governance requirements, templates, documentation, and reporting practices.
- Monitor project progress against approved plans, KPIs, milestones, and performance indicators.
- Maintain project documentation, status updates, meeting outcomes, action logs, risk logs, and issue logs.
- Ensure project updates are accurate, timely, and aligned with PMO reporting requirements.
Risk, Issue, and Change Management:
- Identify, assess, and monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Follow up on risk mitigation plans and corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
- Escalate critical risks, delays, and project challenges to support timely decision-making.
- Support the management of project changes and ensure their impact on scope, timeline, and deliverables is properly assessed.
Reporting, KPIs, and Data Analysis:
- Prepare periodic project reports, dashboards, executive summaries, and performance updates.
- Track and analyze project KPIs to identify progress, gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Use data analysis to provide insights that support project performance monitoring and decision-making.
- Present project status, achievements, challenges, and recommendations in a clear and structured manner.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal departments, project teams, and business owners to ensure effective project execution.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, follow-ups, and project status reviews.
- Ensure stakeholders are updated on project progress, required actions, risks, and key decisions.
- Support alignment between project teams and PMO requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP certification is mandatory.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management, KPI tracking.
- Analytical, and reporting skills.
