PROJECT Manager – Pre-Contract
Project Manager role will be to work closely with the Design Team Leaders & Project Directors to deliver vast array of projects with a set deadline to support the company business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in Preparing design briefs& RFPs (Technical scope) for the procurement of lead and sub-consultancy services and overseeing project procurement management while making sure that all aspects of the projects scope is covered within different consultants’ scopes to avoid future variations
Replying to consultants’ Tender queries, through coordinating with the relevant design manger/s to support the Contracts and commercial department
Preparing and constantly updating consultants’ data base and prequalification for different scope and disciplines
Assisting in overlooking design team workload and tasks allocation on designated tasks sheet
Managing preparing templates for the design department
Assisting and supporting the Company’s stakeholders by providing all kind of support as needed.
Creating, maintaining, coordinating, and monitoring comprehensive project documentation including project plans,
Monitoring and collecting project information for reporting to senior leadership.
Organizing &monitoring schedules and following up with the project team to ensure deadlines are met.
Liaising and collaborating with the whole project team and stakeholders to scope requirements, and objectives.
Analyzing project insights and producing progress reports.
Making sure that stakeholders’ needs are met as projects evolve.
Assess, document, track and communicate project risks and issues, and provide solutions where applicable.
Organizing and attending stakeholders’ meetings and recording minutes.
Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
Follow-up on the status of the Authorities applications & NOCs and prepare summary reports on the progress and related risks.
Monitor and control project costs to complete the project within the approved budget
Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs efficiently. Ensure modifications are documented, justified, and approved by relevant stakeholders
Monitor the project contract, manage scope and variations, and identify key risks, ensuring legal compliance.
Oversee project closure, ensuring all contractual obligations are met. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
Required Experience & Qualification:
Architectural Bachelor’s degree holder.
8-12 years of proven work experience, 3 years min experience as a Project Manager or similar role.
Fluent in English is a must
Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Projects, MS Planner).
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
FIDIC or arbitration courses is plus
