Wood has an opportunity for a Project Finance Partner to join our team in Qatar on a long-term basis.
Key Objective: Ensure all accounting entries within the individual’s area of control (project, contract, service line) are recorded in an accurate and timely manner. This involves the provision of timely reporting of financial data internally to business stakeholders and externally to the client. Furthermore, financial reporting will extend to forecasts, budgets and a “no surprises” outlook, together with ad-hoc financial analysis.
This may require the management of a small team of accountants and this role is appropriate for larger, more significant projects, contracts or service lines.
Qualifications:
Further education through College or University with a recognised accounting qualification
Preferably working towards CIMA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent
Knowledge,
Skills and Experience:
3-4 years project accounting experience
Proficient user of Excel
People supervision and management skills
Good commercial knowledge
Personal Attributes:
Ability to form and maintain strong working relationships
Shows willingness to make improvements and shares best practice
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to discuss issues clearly and concisely at all levels within the organisation
