Guildhall is recruiting for a Project Engineer to join a leading international engineering and construction contractor in the UAE. The successful candidate will support the successful execution of major high-rise commercial and mixed-use developments by coordinating engineering, construction, procurement, and site operations while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
– Coordinate with the Project Manager and Planning Engineer to implement construction programmes, resource plans, and material procurement schedules to achieve project milestones.
– Manage day-to-day site engineering activities, supervising subcontractors, site teams, and construction operations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
– Review construction drawings, shop drawings, technical submittals, and RFIs, resolving engineering issues with consultants and design teams to support uninterrupted project execution.
– Monitor project progress, manpower, equipment, and material requirements while preparing progress reports, resource forecasts, and recommending corrective actions where required.
– Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, QA/QC procedures, consultant inspections, and project close-out requirements, including as-built drawings and handover documentation.
