Project Engineer – Landscaping, Swimming Pools & Water FeaturesAbout the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Project Engineer to support and oversee the execution of landscaping, swimming pool, water feature, irrigation, and associated civil works projects. You will play a key role in coordinating site activities, ensuring technical compliance, monitoring progress, and supporting project delivery safely, on time, and within budget.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution
- Supervise day-to-day site activities across landscaping, pools, water features, irrigation, and civil works
- Ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and schedules
- Monitor site progress and report delays, risks, or technical issues to the Project Manager
- Coordinate mobilization, inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities
Site Coordination
- Coordinate with supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
- Plan and track manpower, materials, and equipment requirements
- Resolve on-site coordination issues across different disciplines
- Attend site meetings and provide regular technical updates
Technical Responsibilities
- Review drawings, BOQs, shop drawings, and material submittals before execution
- Ensure all works comply with approved designs, specifications, and client requirements
- Prepare RFIs, inspection requests, and support method statement preparation
- Coordinate with design and procurement teams for approvals and material availability
Swimming Pool & Water Feature Works
- Supervise installation of swimming pools, pump rooms, filtration systems, fountains, waterfalls, piping, pumps, lighting, and controls
- Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and performance verification of systems
- Coordinate integration with MEP works for smooth execution
Landscaping & Civil Works
- Supervise hardscape and softscape works including paving, kerbstones, planting, turfing, irrigation, and landscape structures
- Monitor excavation, grading, drainage, and site preparation activities
- Ensure workmanship meets approved quality standards and specifications
Quality & Safety
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Enforce HSE policies and UAE safety regulations on site
- Identify non-conformities and support corrective actions
Cost Control & Reporting
- Monitor material usage and support efficient resource utilization
- Assist in preparing progress reports, schedules, and project documentation
- Maintain records of inspections, approvals, daily activities, and as-built data
- Support project close-out and handover documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 3–6 years of UAE experience in landscaping, swimming pools, water features, irrigation, or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of civil works, MEP coordination, and landscape execution
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical documents
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- UAE Driving License preferred
