Job Description
Coordinate planning, logistics, quality control, and resource allocation while supervising cross-functional teams. Experience in process equipment, steel structures, piping systems, and chilled water systems is essential for delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
Develop detailed project plans (scope, schedule, budget) in collaboration with the Estimation Department.
Monitor progress using Gantt charts, KPIs, and milestone tracking (MS Project/Primavera).
Coordinate daily with Project Managers, foremen, and subcontractors to align priorities.
Technical Coordination:
Review designs, P&IDs, and engineering deliverables; initiate corrective actions.
Supervise mechanical, electrical, and civil teams.
Resolve on-site technical conflicts and optimize workflows.
Work with Logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials/equipment.
Prepare cost estimates, review vendor bids, and manage subcontractors.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Quality & Client Relations:
Partner with QC teams to enforce ITPs (Inspection Test Plans) and resolve non-conformance issues.
Serve as the primary technical liaison for client meetings, clarifying requirements and providing progress updates.
Performance Tracking:
Generate weekly status reports (progress, delays, budget variance).
Maintain a lessons-learned database to improve future project execution.
Desired Candidate Profile Technical Knowledge:
Process equipment (pumps, vessels, heat exchangers)
Piping systems (carbon steel, stainless steel)
Chilled water/HVAC systems
Preferred:
Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or OSHA 30.
Adaptability to dynamic project demands.
Leadership to manage multidisciplinary teams.
