Project Engineer – Landscaping & Construction
Perfect Technical Works and Landscaping LLC is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to coordinate and supervise landscaping, irrigation, swimming pool, water feature, hardscape, softscape, and civil works projects across the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing projects from start to handover.
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Coordinate daily site activities with Site Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and work schedules.
- Ensure works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections, approvals, submissions, and technical requirements.
- Prepare and follow up on material submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, IRs, method statements, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor subcontractor work and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams.
- Identify technical issues, delays, and site problems and assist in finding solutions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, as-built documentation, and handover.
- Ensure all works comply with UAE regulations, project specifications, quality, and HSE requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Project Engineer.
- Experience in landscaping, irrigation, swimming pools, water features, hardscape, softscape, or civil works.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera P6 is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of QA/QC, HSE, construction methods, and project coordination.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- UAE Driving License is preferred.
- UAE landscaping/construction experience is highly preferred.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
