Job Title: Experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimation Engineer
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor or Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tendering for steel structure projects within the UAE, with a preference for individuals who have experience in tents and sheds.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for steel structure projects.
Analyze tender documents and prepare detailed BOQs.
Conduct market research to source materials and subcontractors.
Collaborate with design and project teams to align estimates with project requirements.
Manage tender submissions, negotiations, and contract documentation.
Preferred Experience:
Steel Structures: Extensive experience in tendering and estimation for steel structure projects.
Tents & Sheds: Familiarity with fabrication and installation processes.
PVC & HDPE Fabrics: Knowledge of materials and applications in tensile structures.
Metal Roofs: Experience with sandwich panels, corrugated sheets, and similar roofing systems.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE market.
Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office.
Strong knowledge of local regulations and material sourcing.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
