Project Engineer – Diesel Power Generation Systems Jobs in Jebel Ali Freezone at Adpower FZCO
Responsible for the execution and coordination of diesel generator projects from order receipt through engineering, documentation, manufacturing, FAT, delivery, commissioning support, and project close-out. Acts as the primary technical interface between customers, consultants, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project specifications, contract documents, and client requirements.
- Coordinate engineering activities for diesel generator packages.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including:
o General Arrangement (GA) Drawings
o Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
o Wiring Diagrams
o Foundation Drawings
o Fuel System Drawings
o Fire Detection & Suppression System Drawings
o O&M Manuals
o FAT/SAT Procedures
o Method Statements
o Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
o Quality Plans
o Certificates of Conformity
o Warranty Certificates
o Comment Response Sheets (CRS)
- Review consultant comments and coordinate revisions with engineering teams.
- Liaise with customers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve technical and commercial issues.
- Monitor manufacturing progress and coordinate with production to meet project schedules.
- Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), inspections, and customer visits.
- Coordinate with the client and logistics department to ensure timely deliveries without any issues.
- Coordinate commissioning activities.
- Review purchase orders, commercial terms, and payment milestones in coordination with the sales team.
- Prepare technical clarifications, compliance statements, and deviation reports.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure timely submission of engineering documents.
