The Construction Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role bridges the gap between engineering design and construction implementation, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The Project Engineer will work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure construction activities run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and managing construction project schedules, resources, and budgets.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to review project plans, drawings, and specifications.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with design, safety standards, and project timelines.
Prepare and update project documentation, including RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, change orders, and progress reports.
Assist in cost control by tracking expenses and helping with budget adherence.
Conduct site inspections and assist in resolving technical issues that arise during construction.
Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors.
Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and company standards.
Support the implementation of quality control and safety programs on-site.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
