We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Project Engineer to oversee the complete technical and documentation lifecycle of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The role involves managing technical submissions, cost estimations, shop drawings, material approvals, and coordination with project teams, consultants, and relevant authorities. The candidate should have a strong understanding of local authority requirements and procedures, including Ashghal, PWA, Kahramaa, and other related entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project technical documentation from initiation to completion.
- Prepare cost estimates, technical proposals, and material submittals.
- Develop and review shop drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ensure timely approvals and maintain accurate project records.
- Follow local authority standards and approval procedures.
- Handle multiple tasks effectively while meeting project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in construction, fit-out, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of technical documentation, shop drawings, and material approvals.
- Familiarity with Qatar local authority procedures (Ashghal, PWA, Kahramaa, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
