Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer with 8+ years of experience in the contracting industry to oversee and manage on-site construction activities for villa and apartment projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines while maintaining strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities on site.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor the progress of villa and apartment construction works and report updates to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Review technical drawings, resolve site-related issues, and provide technical guidance to site personnel.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards and compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Verify material quantities, monitor material usage, and coordinate material deliveries.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Attend site meetings with consultants and clients as required.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure timely closure of snagging and punch list items.
- Support project handover and documentation activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience as a Site Engineer in the construction/contracting industry.
- Hands-on experience managing villa and apartment construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site execution, and quality control.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
