JobPurpose:
The Project Senior Director is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of large-scale housing development projects for NHC. This role involves leadingcross-functional teams, managing project portfolios, and ensuring that all projects align with the company’s vision of delivering sustainable, high-quality housing. The Senior Director will provide strategic guidance, monitor performance, and ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of projects in compliance with national standards and NHC’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
ProjectLeadership:Lead the overall planning, execution, and delivery of complex, large-scale housing projects, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and time requirements.
Strategic Planning:Develop and implement project strategies that align with NHC’s long-term goals, ensuring that the company remains a leader in housing development.
Portfolio Management:Oversee multiple housing development projects, ensuring they are integrated, efficient, and deliver expected outcomes.
Stakeholder Management:Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, contractors, consultants, andsenior management, to ensure project success.
Risk Management:Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruption and ensure successful delivery.
TeamLeadership:Manage and mentor a team of project directors, managers, and engineers, fostering acollaborative environmentthat encouragesinnovation, efficiency, and excellence.
Financial Oversight:Oversee project budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost control, value engineering, and efficientresource allocationacross all projects.
Compliance and Standards:Ensure all projects adhere to local, national, and international regulations, including environmental, safety, and quality standards.
Performance Monitoring:Track project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly reporting tosenior managementon timelines, risks, and overall project health.
Innovation and Best Practices:Promote the adoption ofcutting-edge technologies,innovativepractices, andsustainabilitymeasures in project execution.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
Experience in large-scale real estate or constructionproject management, with experianse in aseniorleadershiprole.
Proven experience managing high-value, multi-phase development projects, preferably in housing or urban development.
Comprehensive knowledge ofproject managementmethodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
Strong understanding of local regulatory requirements, permits, and housing development guidelines.
