Projects Director – Water Systems, you will oversee the delivery of the Water Systems projects. The water systems cover potable, waste and irrigation water and includes assets and networks.
You’ll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, and ensure seamless alignment with Master Development and Infrastructure Planning Teams, and the National Water Company (NWC). This is a high-impact role with an opportunity to lead major water infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate proposed Water assets and network deployment plans to satisfy the development requirements (capacity, location, and program
Participate into the drafting of agreements with NWC including any particular conditions related to the project location, program, or conditions of execution.
Review and provide comments on the Project Technical Specificationprovided by NWC and ensure company’s requirements are reflected and identify any changes from the allocated plots and corridors.
Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring effective coordination and communication across all phases of project delivery.
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
Maintain control over the contract administration processes (change management, safety and program performance) and be accountable for ensuring timely approvals of changes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field.
15+ years of experience in large-scale construction/project management.
In-depth knowledge of water systems, NWC projects, FIDIC contracts, and permitting.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Experience in working on NWC Projects
