Overview
AtkinsR alis is seeking a Project Director to lead a high‑end project on a remote site in the UAE. This role will oversee design reviews, programme, project management and site supervision across a complex multi‑package programme involving mixed‑use assets. You will act as the single point of contact between internal and external delivery teams, ensuring strategic alignment, stakeholder coordination and successful delivery of project objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee design reviews, programme, project management and site supervision across a complex multi‑package programme involving mixed‑use assets.
- Take full responsibility for all aspects of the project delivery, including progress reporting, commercial and contractual management, change management, health, safety and environmental standards, sustainability requirements and close‑out documentation.
- Manage and control the AMP Construction Contractors team, ensuring they are adequately resourced and fulfilling contractual responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Recognise shortfalls in contractor performance through detailed monitoring of procurement activities, schedule, technical submissions, resourcing, leadership and management capabilities; recommend and implement solutions.
- Act as the authorized representative of the consultant to the foundation, representing the consultant’s interests.
Qualifications
- Project Director experience in delivery of high‑rise and complex building programmes, preferably as a construction contractor.
- Deep understanding of design and construction in the Middle East construction industry.
- Minimum 10 years with the consultant and relevant experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Experience in delivery of amphitheatre/large public venues development projects, design management, project management and construction supervision.
- Strong collaboration skills and passion for building high‑performing project delivery teams.
