Job Title: Local Sales Representative

Job Description:
Have a strong understanding of the loacl rice, sugar, cooking oil and other foodstuff markets, including pricing trends, demand fluctuations, and supply chain factors.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local clients and business partners.
Identify new sales opportunities and generate leads within the UAE market.
Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and negotiations with potential customers.
Understand customer needs and provide suitable product/service recommendations.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company.
Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and customer databases.
Handle inquiries, follow up on leads, and ensure excellent customer service.
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events as required.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years in local sales within the UAE.
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but can be overlooked if the candidate has relevant experience.
Good knowledge of rice, sugar, cooking oil and other foodstuff local markets and their distribution channels.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Basic computer proficiency, especially in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Language proficiency in English, Hindi, and Urdu is required; Arabic is preferred.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
Familiarity with the UAE market and local business culture.
Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
