Overview
We are partnering with a leading organisation within the data centre sector to appoint a Project Controls Lead to support the delivery of major mission critical developments across Saudi Arabia.
This position will play a key role in establishing and maintaining project controls across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring accurate programme management, risk visibility and executive reporting throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and manage integrated project schedules across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
- Maintain project controls across multiple data centre and infrastructure projects simultaneously.
- Produce baseline, look-ahead, recovery and scenario programmes.
- Review contractor, consultant and supplier schedules, assessing sequencing, logic, critical path and overall programme integrity.
- Identify programme risks and coordinate mitigation plans with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain project risk registers, issue logs, action trackers and change control documentation.
- Monitor programme performance, identifying delays and escalating risks before they impact key milestones.
- Work closely with Commercial and Quantity Surveying teams to align programme schedules with procurement strategies, cost forecasts and cash flow.
- Support the assessment of variations, claims and extensions of time from a planning and programme perspective.
- Produce concise project dashboards, progress reports and executive-level reporting for senior management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project controls systems, reporting standards and governance processes.
- Support project teams with planning best practice and programme management throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- 5-8+ years’ experience within Project Controls, Planning or Programme Controls on major construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting integrated programmes covering design, procurement, utilities, construction and commissioning.
- Previous experience delivering data centres, mission critical facilities, power, airports, hospitals, industrial or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of critical path analysis, scheduling, risk management, change control and programme reporting.
- Experience using Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel and project reporting tools.
- Professional certification such as PMP, PSP, PMI-SP or APM is advantageous but not essential.
- Middle East experience is preferred, although strong international experience on major projects will also be considered.
