Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Project Accountant with high experience and competence in the contracting and engineering sectors. The role involves establishing and managing the company’s accounting system, overseeing cost centers for each project, and monitoring cash flows (including payments to suppliers and subcontractors), in addition to preparing financial statements, budget estimates, and full compliance with the requirements of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Build and develop the Chart of Accounts and structure the Cost Centers for each project accurately.
- Monitor receivables and reconcile them with incoming cash flows and follow up on payment collections.
- Audit and review subcontractor and supplier invoices and manage payment plans and outstanding payments.
- Prepare periodic and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flows) accurately and professionally.
- Prepare and submit tax declarations (VAT) and follow up on Zakat and income files and electronic invoicing requirements.
- Prepare budget estimates for projects and the company, analyze financial variances, and submit periodic cost reports to management.
- Match and monitor inventory movement and purchase orders (LPO) and reconcile them with actual material requests to minimize waste.
- Prepare monthly payrolls, end-of-service benefits, allowances, and vacations in accordance with Saudi labor law.
