Position: Program Manager (MSS)
Position Overview:
The Program Manager (PM) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Medical Support Services contract, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, operational efficiency, and high-quality performance. The PM will lead, manage, plan, and sustain daily activities while maintaining accountability for program deliverables, financial performance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the senior-most in-country management official responsible for all aspects of program execution, including personnel management, budgeting, and contract compliance.
Ensure the program meets performance objectives in alignment with the terms and conditions of the contract.
Lead and coordinate efforts to sustain medical support services, ensuring high standards of care and operational effectiveness.
Manage and oversee program planning, risk mitigation, quality assurance, and reporting.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with government representatives, clients, and key stakeholders.
Ensure all personnel meet training, certification, and security requirements necessary for program success.
Provide leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams to foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular program assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and contract stipulations.
Report program status, challenges, and achievements to senior leadership and government representatives as required.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of project management experience, including at least five (5) years in a similar role as the senior-most in-country management official responsible for overseeing a project.
Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active SECRET security clearance.
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.
Technical Knowledge: Experience with Role 2 Medical operations or oversight is preferred.
Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects, lead diverse teams, and maintain operational efficiency under high-pressure conditions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, government officials, and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
Previous experience working on military or government medical support contracts.
Experience in a deployed or austere environment supporting medical services.
