For our client, a multinational manufacturer of aesthetics & physiotherapy devices, we are looking for an experienced Production Technician. This role will be based in the company’s factory located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
Job Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly of device components, including covers, fasteners, and locking mechanisms
- Electrical wiring and connection of modules, sensors, and PCBs according to color-coded schematics
- Use of torque tools, hand tools (e.g. Torx TX10–TX30), and crimping tools
- Routing, labelling, and securing of cables with ties (without overtightening)
- Identification and registration of serial numbers and component IDs
- Work according to step-by-step visual work instructions provided in English
- Housekeeping
- Communication with other members (Production Technologist- Production Manager – other units)
- Documentation – Create and maintain clear documentation for tests, measurements, and repairs in accordance with SOPs and quality standards
- Continuous Improvement – Monitor recurring issues, propose systematic solutions, and support initiatives to optimise production flow and product quality
- HSE & 5S Compliance – Maintain a clean, organised workspace and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Collaboration – Work closely with the Production Supervisor and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production and timely issue resolution
- In some occasion, to act as a Production Technologist
- Label Printing: Using ZEBRA printer to print out label and follow the work instructions accordingly.
- Clean up spills and garbage
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring a safe workplace environment for all team members
- Complete work orders in an efficient manner and report delays/quality problems to Technologist/Manager
- Ability to follow Work Instructions, and work under the guidance of Technologist/Manager
Requirements
- Secondary education in a technical field (mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics)
- Previous experience in electronics or mechanical assembly is a strong advantage (e.g. automotive, electronics, appliances, or medical devices)
- Ability to follow complex assembly procedures with a high degree of precision and attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity, visual accuracy, and reliability
- Experience with torque-controlled assembly is an advantage
- Ability to carry boxes for assembly
