We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor with a strong background in interior fit-out and bespoke joinery works for luxury villas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising factory production activities, ensuring high-quality workmanship, efficient resource utilization, and timely delivery of custom-made furniture, joinery, and interior fit-out elements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production activities within the joinery and fit-out factory.
- Plan, organize, and monitor manufacturing schedules to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Oversee the production of custom furniture, doors, wardrobes, wall paneling, kitchens, vanities, and other bespoke joinery items for luxury villa projects.
- Coordinate with design, technical, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review shop drawings and production drawings prior to manufacturing.
- Monitor quality standards throughout the production process and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Manage and supervise carpenters, machine operators, polishers, and other factory personnel.
- Ensure proper allocation of manpower, machinery, and materials to maximize productivity.
- Identify and resolve production issues while maintaining efficiency and quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products before dispatch to site.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the factory.
- Track production progress and provide regular updates to management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Interior Design, Wood Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in joinery and interior fit-out production, with significant exposure to luxury villa projects.
- Strong knowledge of custom joinery manufacturing, woodworking machinery, and finishing processes.
- Experience in producing high-end residential interiors and bespoke furniture.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and production details.
- Strong understanding of materials including solid wood, veneer, laminate, stone, metal, and luxury finishes.
- Proven experience managing factory teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- UAE/GCC experience in luxury villa fit-out projects.
- Experience working with premium residential developers and high-net-worth clients.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and production planning systems.
