Roles and responsibilities
Assisting Production Manager in planning and organizing the shift employees in achievingdaily Production targets.
Monitor and ensuringthat all personnel adhere to work instructions andprocedures
Assist in Production Process fordifferent Processing Lines of Meat & Sea Food Increase  employee morale and be able tohandle queries of shift workers and request relative to personalhealth related matters, accommodation, yearly leaverequest.
Ensure processing staff are adheringto the Health and Safety procedures itor attendance and Employee time Management and ensuring weekly timesheets arecorrect.
Participate in the maintenance ofoperational controls and compliance with HACCP audit and regulatoryguidelines for all activities.
Ensure customerservice levels by producing quality products within the agreedtimeframes.
Coordinate with Quality Team toensure customer complaints are investigated and corrective actionis completed.
Coordinates with Maintenance Teamto ensure preventative maintenance is carried out on all equipmentand that operators have the necessary training with regards topreventative maintenance andoperations.

Ensuring that the productionprocess runs smoothly and efficiently by overseeing dailyoperations, including staffing, workflow, and productionschedules.
Managing Production Schedules:
Ensuring that production goals are metwithin the scheduled timeframes. This includes adjusting schedulesbased on machine downtime, staffing issues, or delays in materialsupply.
Coordinating Production Resources:
Ensuring that necessary materials,equipment, and personnel are available for production. Thisincludes collaborating with other departments like logistics,procurement, andmaintenance.
Team Management Staff Supervision :
Leading a team of operators,technicians, and workers. This includes assigning tasks, monitoringperformance, and ensuring adherence to safety and qualitystandards.
Training and Development
:
Ensuring that team members areadequately trained to perform their duties safely and effectively.
This may include
on-the-job training
, skills development, andcross-training.
Performance Management:
Monitoring team performance andproviding feedback. Addressing performance issues, ensuringemployee accountability, and implementing strategies for continuousimprovement.
Quality Control
and Standards Compliance Ensuring Product  Quality:
Monitoring production output toensure products meet quality standards. This may include conductinginspections, tests, and checks during the productionprocess.
