Make My Box Packaging LLC is a growing packaging manufacturing company looking for a highly skilled and experienced Printing Press Supervisor to oversee our daily printing operations. If you have strong technical expertise in commercial print manufacturing and excel at managing production teams, we want you on our team.
Job Summary:
Your primary responsibility will be to lead and oversee the printing department, ensuring all paper packaging materials are printed to the highest quality standards while meeting strict production schedules. You will play a crucial role in minimizing material waste, maintaining printing equipment, and providing hands-on leadership to a team of press operators and assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
Printing Operations & Quality Control:
- Oversee the setup, operation, and precise adjustment of printing presses for various paper and packaging jobs.
- Monitor production runs continuously to ensure accurate color matching, registration, and overall print quality consistency.
- Review daily job orders and coordinate seamlessly with the production and sales teams to ensure all client specifications and deadlines are met.
- Implement and enforce strict quality control procedures to minimize defects and reduce ink and paper waste.
Team Leadership & Equipment Maintenance:
- Supervise, train, and guide press operators and floor staff, fostering a safe, organized, and highly productive work environment.
- Schedule daily shifts and allocate machine tasks to maximize equipment uptime and overall labor efficiency.
- Oversee and perform routine preventative maintenance on printing machinery, troubleshooting minor mechanical issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate daily production logs, machine maintenance records, and end-of-shift reports.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Printing Press Supervisor, Lead Press Operator, or similar leadership role within the packaging or print industry.
- Preference will be given to male candidates for this position.
- In-depth technical knowledge of offset printing presses, color management, and the various paper substrates used in carton manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to confidently manage a fast-paced production floor.
- Ability to safely handle physically demanding tasks and oversee heavy industrial machinery operations.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with other internal departments, such as the warehouse and administration.
- Detail-oriented mindset with an uncompromising focus on print quality and workplace safety.
Pay: From AED1,800.00 per month
