Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee our fruit and vegetable consumer packaging facilities in KSA and Bahrain. The ideal candidate will manage the entire production process, from layout design to daily operations, ensuring that all production targets are met efficiently, cost-effectively, and within quality standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the seamless operation of several automatic packing lines across various product categories.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Layout & Machinery Positioning:
Design the layout of the packing house for optimal space utilization and workflow efficiency.
Plan and position the various automatic packing lines according to product categories.
Identify and implement process improvements for better productivity.
Production Planning:
Develop and execute production schedules to meet demand forecasts.
Ensure that all production lines are operating at optimal efficiency and within set timelines.
Monitor and adjust production plans to accommodate changes in product orders or material availability.
Packaging Material Planning:
Estimate and plan packaging material requirements to avoid production delays.
Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Machinery Acquisition & Maintenance:
Evaluate and recommend new machinery to enhance production capabilities.
Develop and supervise a comprehensive maintenance program for all packing lines.
Ensure machinery is maintained and operational with minimal downtime.
Cost Management & Analysis:
Conduct regular cost analysis to optimize production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Monitor and control production budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
Workforce Management:
Create daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules for production staff.
Plan staff allocation and overtime as needed to meet production deadlines.
Ensure smooth workflow among staff, addressing any bottlenecks in the production process.
Quality Control
:
Overseequality assuranceprocesses to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
Implement corrective actions where quality issues arise in the production process.
Health & Safety:
Ensure the production floor complies with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety checks and training sessions for staff.
Key
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
5+ years of experience in production management, preferably in the food industry.
Proven track recordof overseeing automated production lines.
Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and workflowoptimization.
Experience in budgeting and cost management.
Ability to manage large teams and work under pressure.
Skills:
